TGI AG, Vaduz, already attracted media attention in the past and has been the subject of warnings issued by the FMA. Customers of TGI AG now have the opportunity to successfully reclaim payments made, subject to certain conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
By order of 26 May 2026, published on 28 May 2026, the Liechtenstein Financial Market Authority (FMA) prohibited TGI AG from distributing and publicly offering the products \u201cCustomer Basic 2%\u201d, \u201cSales Premium\u201d and \u201cSofortrabatt<\/em>\u201d with immediate effect. The FMA classifies these products as deposit-taking business requiring authorisation, which TGI AG operated without the necessary authorisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At the same time, the FMA requires TGI AG to reverse all outstanding gold purchases within four months and to refund the customers\u2019 payments. The order is immediately enforceable and the FMA has deprived any potential appeal of suspensive effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It is advisable for all affected customers to secure and assert their claims against TGI AG without delay. In addition to the recovery of the purchase price, claims for damages may also be considered. This applies in particular to all executive bodies of TGI AG responsible for the unauthorised deposit business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n TGI AG disputes the allegations, whilst at the same time a \u2018TGI International\u2019 with a registered address in Dubai has emerged. This suggests that TGI may intend to relocate its business and possibly the funds to Dubai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Furthermore, it is unclear whether TGI AG would at all be in a position to satisfy the clients\u2019 claims in full, or whether there is even a risk of insolvency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In such a situation, every day counts. Affected clients can use interim injunctions not only to prevent a potential outflow of funds and secure the satisfaction of their claims.
