{"id":549,"date":"2024-03-05T08:42:59","date_gmt":"2024-03-05T08:42:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/neu.niedermueller.law\/news\/2024\/03\/05\/celestia-successfully-launches-mainnet-and-tia-token\/"},"modified":"2024-03-08T10:52:03","modified_gmt":"2024-03-08T10:52:03","slug":"celestia-successfully-launches-mainnet-and-tia-token","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.niedermueller.law\/en\/2024\/03\/05\/celestia-successfully-launches-mainnet-and-tia-token\/","title":{"rendered":"Celestia successfully launches Mainnet and TIA Token"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In early 2023, Liechtenstein-based Celestia Foundation and Strange Loop Labs, the creators of Celestia<a href=\"http:\/\/www.celestia.org\">(www.celestia.org<\/a> ), closed a USD 55 million Series B private round led by Bain Capital Crypto<a href=\"https:\/\/baincapitalcrypto.com\">(https:\/\/baincapitalcrypto.com<\/a> ).<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Celestia has now reached another milestone in the project with the successful launch of the Celestia Mainnet and the TIA token on October 31, 2023.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After its launch, Celestia became one of the most sought-after projects in the community and on the markets, which led to the Celestia project standing side by side with the best blockchain projects in the world.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Celestia is a project founded by Mustafa Al-Bassam, Ismail Khoffi and John Adler that is building the world&#8217;s first modular blockchain network, designed to allow anyone to easily set up their own blockchain by using Celestia as a modular consensus mechanism.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;<em>We are very pleased with the successful launch of the Celestia Mainnet and the strong positive response from the community.
